This traditional women's French wool beret in black and white was up cycled from a Kangol cap made in England. It has a narrow, one inch band with an inner elastic headband sewn around the inside band. It is wool felt that has been embellished with two vintage rhinestone pins, vintage velvet leaves and a handmade black and white hand dyed silk ribbon rose. A unique and interesting accessory. Perfect as a gift to keep a special person cozy warm or for yourself! One of a kind classic beret.
Note: This is a never worn, new beret. Near the bottom edge of the beret is a narrow band of darker yarn that was woven into the fabric. It does not show when worn as pictured.

I have been making hats since 2004. My hats have been showcased in the Kentucky Derby Museum in Louisville, Kentucky since 2010, when I received the Judges Choice Award. I am honored to have had a hat chosen for display at The Great Hat Exhibition in London in March, 2018. I have won Best of Show at the Greater Cleveland Gallery Fest and many gallery and show awards over the years.
