Make a statement with this dressy gold and black medium brim wool felt hat. It is completely hand blocked and hand sewn. just like in the days of Downton Abbey. The brim itself has a wedge cut out of the right side for visual interest. The crown (top) is draped turban-style in a satiny fabric in black with gold circles. It is embellished with a black silk bow; the brim edge is also edged in silk. It's a great example of slow fashion...made to endure and to last a lifetime. Millinery wire is sewed inside of the brim edge to help the hat keep it's shape. An inner adjustable grosgrain headband helps avoid damage from makeup. Gorgeous in every way!
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ FIT AND SIZE: Head size: 21 1/2 to 22 inches. Brim width 3 1/2 inches in the front and 3 1/4 inches in the back. The side crown is 3 1/4 inches high.
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR HEAD SIZE: Place a flexible tape measure around the widest part of your head above your ears and eyebrows, where the hat will sit. Take this measurement three times to make sure it’s accurate. Generally speaking, a small range is 20-21 inches; medium is 21 ½ to 22 ½ inches and large is 23 to 24 inches.
