This hat would be right at home on Downton Abbey! The shape is a classic 1920s cloche. It is the prettiest shade of Kelly green. The back brim is quite shallow and the sides and front are flipped back for a flattering profile. The top has an interesting swoop and ridge on the right side for visual interest. It is hand blocked using traditional millinery techniques, including steaming, shaping, and hand sewing. I trimmed it with a dupioni silk band and bow and the brim edge is also covered with the same fabric. It is topped with a bit of matching dotted netting and a vintage celluloid button. A grosgrain inner band keeps the hat clean. Fits a 21 to 22 inch head size. Handmade and one of a kind!
