This one of a kind pretty black and red window pane plaid vintage-inspired cloche is made completely by hand and is blocked over a vintage hat block. The steaming and blocking process produces it's unique shape. Once the hat is blocked, a wire is sewn into the brim to help it stay in the desired shape. I do all of the stitching by hand.

An asymmetrical brim is a flattering look on most women. This one comes to a soft point on the right side. As with traditional cloche hats, the back of the brim is short and shallow. A shallow back brim prevents the hat from bumping into your coat collar.

The band is black satin ribbon and is topped with three black and gold handmade felt flowers. Reminds me of a hat that Lady Mary would wear!

An adjustable inner grosgrain headband ribbon helps it keep its shape and avoids damage from makeup. Step out in style!

FIT AND SIZE:
This pretty hat comfortably fits a 21 - 23 inch head size. Inner adjustable head size ribbon.
Brim front: 2 inches; right side 3 inches, back 3/4 inch; left side 1 1/2 inches.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR HEAD SIZE:
Place a flexible tape measure around the widest part of your head above your ears and eyebrows, where the hat will sit. Take this measurement three times to make sure it’s accurate. Generally speaking, a small range is 20-21 inches; medium is 21 ½ to 22 ½ inches and large is 23 to 24 inches.
