"Jasmine" is a neutral and natural vintage bark cloth fabric with many vintage elements. It's a floral fabric in a shell pink/beige background. Other colors are pink, aqua brown, black and sage green. The side crown is a brown and ivory abstract striped fabric. The band is also a vintage ribbon - so pretty. It's topped with a satin rosette and vintage button. All fabrics are repurposed; the floral was probably a drapery or bed covering and the side crown is an off cut from a drapery project. Wear the brim down for more of a bucket shape or flip it back for another fun look that has a vintage vibe. Sweet and romantic!
The hat is finished with an adjustable grosgrain ribbon around the inner headband to help keep the hat’s shape and keep makeup off of the fabric. This hat travels well. I can visualize it with a pretty summer sundress or shorts and a fun t-shirt. Fits a 21 to 23 inch head size. Handmade and one of a kind.
FIT AND SIZE: Comfortably fits a 21 to 23 inch head size. HOW TO MEASURE YOUR HEAD SIZE: Place a flexible tape measure around the widest part of your head above your ears and eyebrows, where the hat will sit. Take this measurement three times to make sure it’s accurate. Generally speaking, a small range is 20-21 inches; medium is 21 ½ to 22 ½ inches and large is 23 to 24 inches.

ABOUT THE MAKER: I have been making hats since 2004. My hats have been showcased in the Kentucky Derby Museum in Louisville, Kentucky since 2010, when I received the Judges Choice Award.
