This butterscotch/camel/caramel widebrim hat is flat out fabulous! It is hand blocked over a vintage hat block and hand sewn with many tiny stitches. The crown (top) of the hat comes to a soft point and the brim has a slight down turn. Millinery wire is sewed inside of the brim edge to help the hat keep it's shape. The band and brim edge is a gorgeous hand dyed silk ribbon. It's finished with a three loop now, a pretty silk and velvet flower and a large bow of vintage netting. An inner adjustable grosgrain headband helps avoid damage from makeup. Gorgeous in every way!

FIT AND SIZE:
Head size: 21 to 23 inches. Inner adjustable headband.
Brim width 4 3/8 inches in the front and 4 inches in the back. The side crown is 2 3/4 inches high.
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR HEAD SIZE:
Place a flexible tape measure around the widest part of your head above your ears and eyebrows, where the hat will sit. Take this measurement three times to make sure it’s accurate. Generally speaking, a small range is 20-21 inches; medium is 21 ½ to 22 ½ inches and large is 23 to 24 inches.

ABOUT THE MAKER:
I have been making hats since 2004. My hats have been showcased in the Kentucky Derby Museum in Louisville, Kentucky since 2010, when I received the Judges Choice Award. I am honored to have had a hat chosen for display at The Great Hat Exhibition in London in March, 2018. I have won Best of Show at the Greater Cleveland Gallery Fest and many gallery and show awards over the years.
