This hat would be right at home on Downton Abbey! The color is a bright red. It is topped with a hand dyed silk band that matches perfectly! Embellished with tree handmade silk roses and hand cut feathers. The brim shape is a soft oval and the sides are longer than the front; the back is much narrower at 2 1/4 inches. It is hand blocked using traditional millinery techniques, including steaming, shaping, and hand sewing.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ FIT AND SIZE: The inner grosgrain drawstring band can be tightened or loosened to fit as small as a 21 inch head size and as large as 23 inches. Brim size: Front: 3 1/4 inches; Sides 4 inches; back 2 1/4 inches.
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR HEAD SIZE: Place a flexible tape measure around the widest part of your head above your ears and eyebrows, where the hat will sit. Take this measurement three times to make sure it’s accurate. Generally speaking, a small range is 20-21 inches; medium is 21 ½ to 22 ½ inches and large is 23 to 24 inches.
