Make a statement with "Madalyn," a dressy velvet and wool fabric medium brim black and red hat. It looks as if it could be worn in the days of Downton Abbey. The top (crown) and inside brim is made with a lovely red wool that was originally a women's high quality blazer. The outer brim is black cotton velvet upcycled from a women's skirt. It is embellished with a black tone-on-tone paisley silk band, three red velvet leaves and a vintage button. It's a great example of slow fashion...made to last. This hat has an inner grosgrain headband that helps avoid damage from makeup. Fully lined in soft cotton. Gorgeous in every way!
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ FIT AND SIZE: Head size: 21 1/2 to 22 1/2 inches. Brim width 3 1/4 inches in the front and 1 1/2 inches in the back, and 2 1/4 inches on the sides and front.
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR HEAD SIZE: Place a flexible tape measure around the widest part of your head above your ears and eyebrows, where the hat will sit. Take this measurement three times to make sure it’s accurate. Generally speaking, a small range is 20-21 inches; medium is 21 ½ to 22 ½ inches and large is 23 to 24 inches.
