"Adele" is a vintage inspired repurposed fabric summer cloche hat that is a beautiful mix of textures. The top is a watermarked polished cotton fabric that was originally a fabric swatch. The side is another swatch in pink, green and ivory plaid with the cutest little gold tassels woven in. The brim comes to a point on the left side for visual interest. The outer brim came from the draperies in my dining room! It is a gorgeous English floral pattern. And finally, the underside of the brim is a coordinating striped fabric that looks great when the brim is flipped back. It is embellished with a green silk band, topped with a plaid silk rosette and vintage button. Fully lined in soft cotton fabric. Wear the brim down for more of a bucket shape or flip it back for another fun look. Class it up with a pretty dress or keep it casual with shorts and sandals.
The hat is finished with a grosgrain ribbon around the inner headband to help keep the hat’s shape and keep makeup off of the fabric. This hat travels well. Fits a 22 to 23 inch head size. Handmade in the USA and one of a kind.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR HEAD SIZE:
Place a flexible tape measure around the widest part of your head above your ears and eyebrows, where the hat will sit. Take this measurement three times to make sure it’s accurate. Generally speaking, a small range is 20-21 inches; medium is 21 ½ to 22 ½ inches and large is 23 to 24 inches.

ABOUT THE MAKER:
I have been making hats since 2004. My hats have been showcased in the Kentucky Derby Museum in Louisville, Kentucky since 2010, when I received the Judges Choice Award. I am honored to have had a hat chosen for display at The Great Hat Exhibition in London in March, 2018.
