This hat would be right at home on Downton Abbey! The brim shape is a soft oval and the sides are wider than the front; the back is much narrower at 2 1/4 inches. It is hand blocked using traditional millinery techniques, including steaming, shaping, and hand sewing. Classic black goes with everything! A gorgeous ivory and black ombre hand dyed silk oversize coordinating rose provides a nice contrast to the wool's texture. The band is black dupioni silk. While the look is definitely vintage, the hat is all new!
