"Shiloh" is a feminine, one of a kind buttery yellow vintage-inspired cloche that's made completely by hand and freeform blocked for a completely unique and one of a kind piece. The steaming and blocking process produces it's unique shape. Once the hat is blocked, a wire is sewn into the brim to help it stay in the desired shape. I do all of the stitching by hand.
This warm winter hat is a pale yellow and is topped with a yellow silk band and oversize bow. The brim turns up all around. The band is solid yellow and the bow (created from an upcycled fabric sample) has a subtle yellow and ivory stripe.
An inner grosgrain headband ribbon helps it keep its shape and avoids damage from makeup. Step out in style!

FIT AND SIZE:
This pretty hat comfortably fits a 22 - 23 inch head size. Inner head size ribbon.
HOW TO MEASURE YOUR HEAD SIZE:
Place a flexible tape measure around the widest part of your head above your ears and eyebrows, where the hat will sit. Take this measurement three times to make sure it’s accurate. Generally speaking, a small range is 20-21 inches; medium is 21 ½ to 22 ½ inches and large is 23 to 24 inches.

ABOUT THE MAKER:
I have been making hats since 2004. My hats have been showcased in the Kentucky Derby Museum in Louisville, Kentucky since 2010, when I received the Judges Choice Award. I am honored to have had a hat chosen for display at The Great Hat Exhibition in London in March, 2018. I have won Best of Show at the Greater Cleveland Gallery Fest and many gallery and show awards over the years.
